30 Resources on Legalizing Marijuana or Not


maryShould marijuana be legalized? This is one question on many people’s minds. There has been a lot of debate for years now over whether or not making marijuana illegal does more harm than good. Marijuana is definitely an addictive drug, yes everybody knows that. But there are also medical benefits that shouldn’t be taken for granted because it can help many people. Several blogs have been created just for the purposes of educating the public both for and against legalizing marijuana.  We thought that it would be a good idea to list those that we are aware of and then leave the debate up to our visitors to decide how they feel about the subject.   3. http://420-now.blogspot.com/ – This is all facts about marijuana: the history, uses, cooking, etc. 420 Now wants us to realize all the benefits of marijuana, so it should be made legal. The posts are general information, but have the essence of a good site.
  4. http://www.marijuana.com/ – Marijuana is a site dedicated to giving everything that’s needed to know about the substance. Included here are the current research, news, and drug tests info among others. You can find photos and recipes with marijuana, so you have a complete overview about it.
  5. http://strainreview.com – If you want to tell your side of the story of talk about your experiences, Strain Review can help. There is great information here, and you can even join the discussion with other people.
  6. http://takemenowhere.org/ – A blog all about marijuana, Take Me Nowhere aims to teach the people an unbiased view of marijuana: the effects and benefits. The answers to frequently answered questions are also found here, so you can easily understand the things discussed here.
  7. http://snowyphils.blogspot.com/ – Don’t Eat Yellow Snow is an anti-prohibition page about marijuana. Like many organizations, they want to give people the chance to decide for themselves if they want to use marijuana. There are benefits which shouldn’t be avoided and instead be maximized.

  11. http://nallforgovernor.blogspot.com/ – The Loretta Nall blog has great emphasis on drug reform law, especially on marijuana which has been quite controversial lately. Aside from this, many other social justice oriented issues are covered so people have an idea of what’s happening in society.

If you want to share about your secret stash, contest the government’s views, or just talk about your experience, this is the blog to be.  There’s no judgment here, so you can be honest in writing about your feelings.

  22. http://www.celsias.com/ – Celsias is an environment-friendly blog that educates the readers about ways to prevent climate change. Even this blog admits that legalizing marijuana would help the world, because it can stop the cutting of deep forests and destruction of the ecosystem.
  23. http://theconservativepothead.blogspot.com/ – You gotta want to checkout a blog entitled the Conservative Pothead, right?  This blog is written by Joseph Klare, aka Stoner Jesus.  Definitely an interesting perspective.
  24. http://www.marijuanalegalizationnews.com/ – This blog wants available equal use of marijuana substance, so it can solve a lot of criminal problems in the country. Marijuana Legalization News has posts about the laws and growing techniques on the plant. There is even a shopping guide in the blog.
  25. http://endo.tv/ – Endo.tv has multiple videos that’s all about marijuana. You can actually learn a lot here, from growing the plant indoor and outdoor, cooking with it, and lots more. There are also comedy videos with marijuana in it, so the blog won’t seem too serious. This blog wants to legalize marijuana, because there’s really nothing wrong with it.
  26. http://the420times.com/ – The 420 Times is a medical marijuana magazine aiming to teach people about the effects of marijuana. This is a fair blog, giving both sides of the story although it does wants to make marijuana legal.

That’s why Effective Drug Rehabilitation was created, to help people cope with their addiction to different substances. Some posts here say that cannabis is less addicting than alcohol, making it safer and therefore should be legalized.

There are many views on this matter, so you really have to look at multiple perspectives. In the end, you make the choice.
  30. http://elizabethpot.blogspot.com/ – Legalize Marijuana? has posts that are really interesting. There’s an analysis on the medical advantage it has, funny quotes that can make your day, and so much more.
